Questions about my visit

Do I have to stick to the booking time slots offered (when making my booking)?

Yes. The guided journeys of discovery through our exhibitions must be well coordinated logistically so that there are no delays, and all guests have a pleasant exhibition experience. Therefore, exhibition visits to the PLOMM are only possible during the booking time slots offered.

What if I'm late or forget an appointment?

Not everything always goes according to plan. If you notice during your arrival that you will probably be late, please contact our reception staff immediately at +352 958370-855. Our guided discovery trips start on time and their duration cannot be shortened. For this reason, we cannot always guarantee that we will be able to reschedule a booking – but we will do our best as soon as we become aware of a delay. Please understand that we cannot refund ticket prices if you do not show up for the booked event.

Do I have to book in advance or can I drop by spontaneously?

We recommend that you book online in advance, as we only sell a quota of tickets at the ticket office and cannot guarantee that tickets are still available. If you spontaneously wish to visit, you can check online in our booking system to see whether there are still bookable time slots available or whether all tickets have already been sold.

Do I have to show my online ticket at the ticket office, or can I just give my name?

It is important that you bring your digital booking confirmation to scan or your booking reference number on the day of your visit. If you specified a reduction card when booking, this must be presented together with the ticket at the reception.

Are there lockers on site?

No, we currently have no option for individuals to lock up valuables. You can leave jackets, bags and shoes in our cloakroom area – but you should take valuables with you. For school classes and groups from care and educational institutions, we have lockable cupboards so that valuables can be stored and protected.

Can I book by phone?

I am entitled for free or reduced entry (culture pass, etc.). How do I specify this when making my booking?

During a booking via our booking system, all of the reduction cards we accept can be selected and applied to the shopping cart. Please note: If a reduction card is specified when booking, it must also be presented at the checkout along with the ticket. If the card provided is not available, the full entrance fee must be paid

How do I receive my tickets?

Once you have completed your booking, you will receive your booking confirmation along with further information by email. You must show this digital booking confirmation at the checkout on the day of your visit.

What happens to my personal data after I book online?

The personal data collected will be kept for as long as necessary to process the booking and will only be recorded to the extent necessary for this processing. Access to this data is exclusively reserved for those PLOMM team members who are directly or indirectly involved in the processing of the above-mentioned data. Under no circumstances will your data be passed on to third parties.
