Good to know for all
I'm an adult. Can I visit the museum without children?
Unfortunately, we do not offer exhibition visits for adults without children. If you are have a professional interest in our work, you are welcome to contact our team with your request at: kompetenzlabo@plomm.lu
What should I bring with me on the day of my visit?
On the day of your visit, please bring the digital booking confirmation with barcode or your booking reference with you. If you specified a reduction card when booking, this must be presented with the ticket. Since street shoes are not permitted in our showrooms, you should also bring stopper socks or slippers.
Am I allowed to take photographs in the museum?
Your own child or your own group can be photographed in the PLOMM. Please make sure, however, that you do not photograph children or adults who are not your own and that you do not disrupt the children’s experience on a guided discovery trip too much by taking photos – shared memories and stories are often more beautiful than snapshots can convey.
For private individuals and private groups
Do I have to be present throughout the visit or can I let my child play alone?
Children are not allowed to play alone in PLOMM. It is important that a legal guardian is present during the entire visit.
Can I also book children's birthday parties at PLOMM?
At the moment, we are not providing birthday parties for children at PLOMM. However, we do have plans to offer them in the future. To keep yourself informed about this and other promotions, we suggest subscribing to our newsletter and following us on our social media platforms.
For educational professionals
I am an educator and would like to come along with a group. What do I have to consider?
Once your booking is complete, the most important thing is already done! You will receive a booking overview with all information relevant to you and your arrival. Please note that you and your group must arrive at the museum 15 minutes before your guided journey of discovery so there’s enough time to check tickets, hang up jackets, stow bags, etc. allowing the guided journey of discovery to start on time. Additionally, your group should bring stopper socks as street shoes are not permitted in our exhibition halls.
Are there also offers for educators, teachers or other educational specialists in the PLOMM?
We have a contact point for educational professionals and everyone who wants to promote participation in their institutions: the Kompetenzlabo. Not only can you get educational materials from there, you can also book further training and specialist support.
