Taking its inspiration from a station in the current exhibition “LOVE”, where children travel to the “Land of Love” on a special train, the summer season offers a variety of ways to explore the theme of travel. Here, travel means not only moving from one place to another, but also changing one’s perspective and using one’s imagination.
Furthermore, travel means discovering new things. Children are ideally suited to this: They invent stories, slip into different roles and playfully create their own worlds. The season invites them to try out different forms of travel – alone and together, calmly and actively, using their bodies, materials or simply their imagination.
The “Tree of Tales” is again part of this season’s programme, offering an exciting journey of discovery for the children.

Travelling Houses (4 – 10 years)
Thursday & Saturday: 9:00 – 10:30 / 10:30 – 12:00 / 13:00 – 14:30 / 14:30 – 16:00
Length of stay is free within the booked time slot.
Water Journeys (2 – 12 years)
Thursday & Saturday: 09:00 – 12:00 / 13:0 – 16:00
Outdoor activity available without booking, but only in good weather! You are free to stay for as long as you like during opening hours.

Get creative at the children’s museum!
In our exhibitions and workshops, children discover their creative potential and explore different forms of expression. The focus is on sharing experiences and working together. Children can playfully experiment with various techniques and let their imagination run free. They are guided by qualified educators and artists.
