Would you like to help shape the PLOMM children’s museum?

We’re setting up a children’s council here. This means a group of children and young people who:

– share their ideas and stories with us

– test exhibitions and activities

– take part in podcasts and videos

– and tell us what works well and what doesn’t.

The PLOMM children’s museum wants to hear what children really think – not what adults think about it.

Are you interested?

Are you aged between 10 and 16? Do you live in Luxembourg and speak Luxembourgish? Are you curious and keen to express your opinion?

Then please get in touch with us as described here!

How can I join in?

We’d love it if you could tell us a bit about yourself. This could be an audio recording or a video taken on your mobile phone, or a drawing or photo showing you or your world. Show us what you enjoy doing or what matters to you.

We need some practical information as well. Please fill in this form with a few questions in Luxembourgish. Ask your family for help if you need it!

Send the form and your contribution to the children’s museum. You can reach us by email at hello@plomm.lu or by post at:

Kannermusée PLOMM
P.O. Box 23 L-9501 Wiltz

Thank you very much for your interest – we look forward to hearing from you!

How does the Children’s Council work?

We will meet approximately every 6–8 weeks, always on Saturday mornings. These meetings will often take place in Wiltz. They will start at around 10 am and last for about 90 minutes.

During the meetings, you will discuss new ideas for exhibitions or try out different activities. You’ll be able to ask questions and share your thoughts. Perhaps you can get creative yourself and draw, write or record something related to the topic. We could also record videos together, for example. We will use your feedback to continue improving our offer for children at the museum.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us by email (hello@plomm.lu) if you have any further questions.
